The Canadian Rockies

Leica M240 + Zeiss Sonnar 50mm

Growing up in a coastal town on the east coast of South Africa, the closest geological feature in the area that compared to mountains were the giant sand dunes we used to race down on waxed up pieces of wood.

What Western Canada lacks in golden beaches, it more than makes up for in snow capped peaks and views. You will be hard pressed to find a more scenic route than the one from Calgary to Vancouver.

I’m looking forward to heading back to these mountains. Buy a Print
